The parasol arts initiative was started by two Adelaide artists, Alison Harvey and Koruna Schmidt Mumm. We are partnering artists with Health professionals and creating new exhibition spaces. By joining the Parasol arts initiative, local practices convert their waiting rooms into spaces which will spark creativity and strengthen community connections. The artists will be able to link with a broader community. Art , has a huge goal: to make individuals and communities enlightened, wise and whole, and bringing art to more people in more places is a step toward meeting this goal.
